Cherish The Day

Hey folks!
It's been a while, but here it goes...
I have so much on my brain. With all that's going on in the world, especially the Navy Yard shootings, I am overwhelmed with emotions of anger,  sadness, gratefulness, etc.
I pray that senseless acts of hate, crime, etc. cease. Spread love folks. Life is too short for foolery, enduring unnecessary pain.
Recently, I discussed with Chimi the ultimate reason for not wanting kids. I asked her why I should be enthused and in a hurry to bring a child into this crazy world.  That's a sad fact but a cold truth for me. I'm hoping we all can make the best of our lives. I'm hoping somewhere down the line my mind changes. I must remember (and encourage myself and others) to Cherish The Day *Sade voice*

Cherish life, living it to the fullest. After all, tomorrow's not promised.
