Outfit of the Day

Good morning. I have been thinking a lot about this post of "professionalism". When I start to think about things, I tend to over analyze everything. The question I posed to myself was: What exactly is professional attire? As I think about it, I thought about lawyers, bankers, and businesswomen. They are the women that are in suits everyday and have the pumps to accentuate their outfits. In my profession, which is to be with children at all times, ripping and running, I feel it is not a requirement to be dressed in "professional" attire. So with that said, FUCK that damn challenge LOL. I am instead changing the post to "Outfit of the Day" so that I can wear more fashionable clothes that I can be active in. When I had on the granny boots that day, they were a minor set back on how I interacted. I was making sure not to get dirty and all that jazz. I am so excited to get that off my chest and I feel like my brain is refreshed from thinking so much.

For today, I decided to rock my hair in my infamous puff. I think my puff is so divine and essential to my transition of becoming a natural some years ago. This was the only style I rocked if my hair was curly.
The outfit of the day is a black and white turtleneck (jail stripes LOL) and what I believe to be a maternity skirt. The skirt does not have a tag on it that says maternity, but I feel like it is. FUCK it!

On my feet I wore some black boots and black sweater tights. It's supposed to have some precipitation today so I had to prepare. I like how old they look (mind you they are only months old). I have walked in a creek with these boots so maybe that's why they are so ashy. The overall look for today was comfort. I think comfort will drive all the outfits that I have from this day forward. I bet my feet will thank me (they still hate me).
