Last night after school, I went to support two friends of mine, D.Omen and G-Two. These cats I met randomly at McDonald's by Howard University, the night Obama won the election. D.Omen has since cut his hair to be on some grown man and become the most hated Hip Hop blogger to ever tweet. G-Two has created multiple mixtapes, gained a right hand man (K Prime) to create Black Sand which have been a success for him. A lot has happened for them since I first met them.
The night was filled with crazy performances. DC Hip Hop breathed last night and I won't be its last breath. There was a lot of people I have never heard of but after this post I'm going to download all their shit. Support the local artists. *Disclaimer*- I left right in the middle of Foreign English's set so I missed Phil Ade and Kingpen Slim.
