I placed the clutch in my bag and rolled my shopping cart across the store to Value Village. Of course on cue before going to look at the clothes, I stop to admire the jewelry. Nothing caught my eye so I went to the clothes. In about an hour, I was in the dressing room trying on 3 dresses. All of these dresses were floral. Floral happens to be a very fun print and I just love it. I tried them on and they were perfect. I purchased all of the dresses and pair of pink sun shades that I thought were adorable. Checking my time, I thought I'd give Unique Thrift another go round. I dropped off my dresses with one of the clerks that gave me a ticket, and walked back to jewelry. This time I bought about 5 pairs of earrings. I dropped the bag in my bag and walked to the scarves. I picked up 3 scarves all assorted patterns and then to the shirts. I picked up a white sleeveless button up and then picked up some high waisted (Mom jeans) shorts. I think my pride and joy for the day had to be the Dooney and Bourke carry on bag that I scored for $30. I was excited about my find because it is the exact match to a Dooney briefcase that I have. After an amazing time at the thrift store, I gathered all my things and trekked back home where I was the subject of a fashion show. Carly is always one to ask for a fashion show when I buy new things. She became the photographer of the night as I shimmied into clothes.
