Almost Two Months

Finally, my shoes came!!! I was very excited to see them sitting at the top of my stairs in front of my door. The story goes as such... January 21, 2011, I was on a Lulu's site and was looking for shoes. I have been looking for a neutral shoe for months and finally Lulu's could finally deliver. I saw these babies on one of the pages and jumped on the opportunity to buy them because they were only $25. I am one to not pass up on a sale so I had them sent to the lovenest that Carly and I share. Due to inclimate weather and what not the arrival for the shoes were supposed to be February 4. On that date, I went to the UPS website to check if they had arrived and it stated that they did and that they were at the front door. Usually when I get packages, they come to my apartment door because the mail carrier has the keys to my building. In this case since it was UPS, the carrier left it at the front door of my building giving other people the opportunity to walk off with my SHIT. Mind you when I get home to my doorstep, you guessed it NO PACKAGE. It took me a few days of my own investigation to call Lulu's. At first I thought my neighbor took my shoes. Carly and I had this joke about him being a cross dresser,trying on my shoes and them not fitting him. We had the whole dialogue played out and it was funny until I actually spoke to him. My building door always has its locks changed and one night my neighbor didn't have the new key and was banging on the entrance door. I walked down stairs and opened the door. As we walked up the stairs I asked him about my package. He told me he never saw a package in front of my door and we ended that conversation. Finally I called Lulu's and they had an investigation of their own. A UPS worker had Carly sign a document stating I didn't have my shoes and about 2 weeks later here they are. I probably am never gonna wear them but the fact that I have them now adds to the things I am gonna give away in a few weeks.
