Smith Commons
Yesterday, it rained cats and dogs! That didnt stop Chimi and I from venturing out to celebrate her grade in her Research class and my job interview (hopefully with promising results). We decided to go to Smith Commons, a new restaurant on H Street NE. After fooling ourselves into trying to enter 2 doors, both of which were not entries, we stepped inside to get a closer look. Needless to say, it was lovely on the inside. The decor was unlike any decor we have seen in other restaurants (Chimi has some pix). It would have been a lil more interesting, had there been more people there (perhaps we should go again when its late). We ordered our drinks and sat down. Chimi admired the building, as I admired the strongness of my drink. ;)
We didn't stay long, having Sticky Rice on our minds for dinner. So we walked across the street to eat. Chimi, having opted for no fried foods and no soda, had to look a little bit longer at the menu. I knew I wanted a bucket of tater tots and sticky chicken (both of which were really good)! All in all, we enjoyed ourselves!
